Question, Does this ever happen? Two children dressed up nicely reading stories to each other. Did it used to happen in the olden days?Are we meant to think it is real ? my two just dont sit still long enough let alone have a perfect bow in their hair..Does this perfect senario happen in anyone elses lives?
ive been looking for nearly two years for the perfect mirror to go in our hall . I just havent found one i like, so there is a big space waiting for it to go up .And now I have seen this and i love it , What do you think ? A mirror without a mirror. Do you like it ?or does it defeat the object too much ? Anyway its for sale in an antiques shop in Devon .I wont says its namejust incase someone reading decides they want it too .Im just not sure its worth the couple of hundred pounds price tag…..

the child threw a bombshell at me this morning just before leaving for school.

i was shocked and upon probing her further and saying her friends were certainly not welcome here any more she confessed it was the boys… mostly ethen and asher.
she said asher has a chihuahua too and was probably jealous but i think she might be bullshitting me.

its was so beautifully sunny today . Cold ,but sunny .Windy,but sunny . I had a cold too. I wanted to take the kids out to take some photos on the beach dunes of the Warren but alas the bitter wind was too much for Bea, and as it blew her over and she started to cry enough was enough ,and she ran indoors ,put the telly on and rubbed nappy into her knee and all over the carpet and into the sky box.

I bought the first painting whilst i was living in Hackey at a granny jumble sale. Its was 50p.No joke. Even then I loved it .So as i got it out of the basement last week I thought Id google his name.George Gault. Its a landscape of Donegal.Ireland. So here is the one that sold at Christies in September 2008 . It was valued between £2000-3000 . Same place,Donegal .I think i may have just lucked out …
Then I thought i may try it again ,with another one i bought when in my 2nd year of st Martins, in a charity shop opposite where i lived on Googe St.His name is Edward Bainbridge Copnall .And his photograh is in the National Portrait Gallery . He was a sculptor too. He painted the second one shown here . Its one i found on line and its done in the same year and i have a feeling that the painting i have is a sketch for his others , that are much more detailed… (to be continued..)
