today i dyed my hair pink .

Until i pluck up courage to post a photo of myself ,it looks a lot like this ,except without  the large earrings and incredible features of course. Its a mixture of  Blonde and pink together .

Its quite refreshing and makes me smile .

p.s you must get he new york times this weekend , Ellen vonUnwerth has been shooting backstage at the Paris couture shows. I tried to up load it to the blog , but it just wouldnt let me . I love Chanel one . See it here .

You know , i love libertys. From my earlier blogging i told you how much i loved it . Its  on the top five of my london list . I meet Emma cook there yesterday . And we did the whole store. It was sad . It looked too edited , too empty , no life and too serene. It looked like it needed a big cuddle and a nice cup of tea . Its just been re-vamped. What a mistake . Put it back to how it was in September . It was dark and interesting then .It has fallen form my top five. This makes me sad . I was loving  regent street .

By the way ,either some one is referrring to our blog a lot , or my top knot fashion prediction was true . I am thinking we are going to see a lot in Paris ….
Oh and what about my big bows, are they ringing true? Aquascutum?  I do love the look Zoe.And you still are one of my besties.

You know i was very close in not making it . With that sidcup train , but i did ,saw some old friends and gotmy free gift nicked form under my feet on the front row, but apart form that i really enjoyed, Liked her use of characters and hooks and eyes. I liked the tea ladies with their trolleys dishing out tea before the show. Great location under the arches in the depths of covent garden.oh and i loved the tiles in the ladies loo too .

we laughed and cried and drank and danced and got the last train home ( oh motherhood).I miss my friends so much . Thanks Rachel,Antony ,Dan,and all at 10 for a fab evening. Cant wait for the next one. x

large lot of vintage (1970’s) baby and childrens clothes (all girls).
Handmade woolies, dresses etc. Having a clear out. All have been washed. said the advert on the local gumtree website. no photos. Oh what to do ? well I  took  a punt and thought ,why not…and  not only were they hand delivered to my door ,but nearly 100 childrens items. And they used to be hers and her sisters .

amazing knits, amazing dresses, kids bikinis, so much stuff, like a tresure trove.  Albie definatley felt happy . SO did I .I’d love to publish more, but ,you know, those ideas cost a little ..

its a slight miracle , we are bundling the kiddied in the car tomorrow morning and heading up country for a little break to see the older folk . We have been invited to a party too . Fingers crossed the kids will be tucked up and mums looking after them . but what will one rather large country girl wear??

OK.starting off . marc jacobs. in times of credit crisis ,have the guts to do something to make you happy and smile. it gives an air of optimisim. i think Florence and the machines.

ok, so that film you sent me today was totally freaky ,until they got to the rag doll bit, and i couldnt but think…. oooh i quite like the crazy rag doll house. But look at those dolls faces in the last picture ,they look seriously worried for their health being all cooped up with a crazy person.

i got my girl a great 1960 s bright red sergent pepper coat . She adores the shiny buttons. Such a good find ( if not a little synthetic ) and still room for growth for next year . hurrah .

after 20 years in Nyc i still love the feeling coming from the airport and seeing the skyline….

mum called up today worried we did n’t have enough provisions. You know a little bit of snow and everyone gets in a panic.Beatrice went sledging , i slid home in the car last night with two friends. Now its started to rain and the snow has turned into brown slush, but bea still insists on eating it whatever colour it is .

I just found this photo album in a charity shop .Its brilliant .  The best thing about it is the wooden tv that is surrounding the royals  . I think i must have watched it on the same one .

I have resently come acroos this rather cute little book called famous cats,needless to say I am sure you have it in your book case , but if you dont and you havent , would you like me to pass it on to you?.I am having a book clear out and even though its very lovely i think you may like it .. you cant beat the great names in it …Stonor Kate,Su-lin,Stonor spiv. Jacky am I right in thinking your more into dogs these days ..

You know Ive had the autumn 2008 copy of 10 on my desk for a very long time.It sometimes comes in the lounge and sometime in the bath with me .I just have a favourite mag from time to time ( this month it is the cover of world on interiors it keeps following me around and i keep thinking i am going to find something new in it every time i read it .)And i just love love love this photo.Its by Paul wetherell.Paul you star ,i love it .You know it was only about 10 years ago we lived in Navarino road E8. Even then your photos made me smile. And they still do . Rock on Paul . ( hint= one day please give me a print )
