i just recently blogged about my love of Ryan Mcginley s photographs .So i was really surprised to see he has just shot the new stella campaign . Loving the collaboration . Well done you guys …..

But It rained .

you came all the way over to devon and it rained . That wasnt meant to happen . Not in the book i was writing.( and 5 kids taking up all our precious time !)

But it was fucking great to see you .

i realised how lucking i am to have such a gorgeous sister. And how much i miss you .

Its really sad you have gone .

But i am excited about our blog plans we have ….or those who want to know ,you will have to wait a little longer” jackyblue ” maybe expanding……

except i would never lie on you naked.

i saw this in a little shop on sullivan st … thought you might like one , i can see you doing needlepoint in front of the aga while your kids play quietly at your feet. NOT.

i have these three pictures that seem to constantly hang in my studio. they have been there for over a year now . I love them even more now than i did a year ago . i cant quite throw them away . in fact they almost could be a fashion story itself with the man below .

mum used to say these were really naff when i was growing up . Do you remember these? i found them in an antiques shop down here . But I dont think they are naff, if fact i wish i had these now,especially the girl with long hair .And peirrot. i love a peirrot me.

Got to admit , i think im pulling the look far better off back then ,aged 10 or so, than i am doing now …its just the hat back then with the front cord, i mean you can be so much more literal in your youth .   . . .

i think i may take my holiday inspiration from here. I think we’ve found our great british holiday after all .With airstream names like “1946 spartan manor “, what else could one wish for ?

there is nothing i like more, than a bit of burnt toast and baked beans and feeling like you havent slept all night ,with no make up mirror and forgotten makeup remover . Yes its the return of the british seaside/camping holiday  . We are getting influxes of people  and coaches arriving here in sunny old devon  . People all shapes and sizes. Its inspiring me to hire a vintage airstream and do camping in style …

No worries , im not that crazy/bored yet . But i sure did ikey the idea. I had to restrain myself in buying any of these . Because, lets be honest now. Its all about the cover and not much about the book … ( i grew up in the 80s , what do you expect. ? i didnt have to read , i had a telly in my bedroom!)and buying the whole lot just for a colour chart , that would be far too ridiculous no ?But they would look great in the office and give the impresion of a higher intelligence .
