this is the church owned by the boys that rented us the cottage. they live here and have a graveyard as their garden. Very cool!!! and quite timely with True Blood being my favourite show at the moment.

i was very impressed by this little artifact from the cottage.

went for a lovely weekend to barryville in upstate  New York and stayed at a divine little cottage.

are finally off for our annual vacation . hurrah!

my friends have found a new house just down the road, in a tucked away location, not far from the sea.

Its a dream house .

Maybe even a forever house.

i came across a new blog today . its really rather cute . Im not a big fan of blogs that just take photos of peoples outfits and themselves only . I find it rather dull . And it seems everyone is doing it and all i think of is big corporate companies tuning in and ripping off ,then everyone looks the same . But i found this blog and its the only one that changed my mind.She is super cute and her outfits are super sweet . You can find it here.

a piece of furniture can really some up how one is feeling.

a little known local band called ‘muse’ have  announced ( secretly ) oops!naughty me… that they are playing a homecoming gig ,two nights in teignmouth in september . I guess if you are die hard fan this is unbelieveable news ( Q. me likey muse? …A. er not really). . .just dont park your campers/caravans outside my house! turn up the volume lets make those teignmouth grannies dance

*news update: yes its true …all confirmed . Muse are arriving with radio one in tow. grab your handbags, the world it seems is descending upon us !

in a matter of a few minutes i was inspired by so many things …

in a small charming workshop in Hatton Garden up a small narrow staircase is a workshop called Rust . It is all very inspiring .Artemis and her partner Nao make gorgeous jewelery out of vintage charms, silver salt spoons and other beautiful found objects as well as using other precious metals and stones. I bought a lovely necklace ,but there was so much more i wanted to buy …. Views are by appointment only… you can see more here

new seasons Betterware catalogue is out . Its AMAZING . ive read it about 20 times .in fact i cant put it down . Its everything you ever need and want and cant believe you have lived without all this time  . It beats any fash mag hands down .
