I really really loved i-d.

And as i have been sorting out i’ve realised just how exciting it was back then . 1993-1994 was such a great time. There was something about the magazine that made you feel like you could be the people they featured . And really ,there wasnt much to the magazine . it was still stapled together and there was still a lot featured in black and white newspaper print .  But  what it had was a uncommercialised vibe. It has soooo much energy and unglossyness packed in .It just meant something. So many talented photgraphers were breaking through and fashion was changing into makeshift ,unmatching and whatever ,so long as you were quite skinny and boyish. Which was the perfect student look for me .

i just wish it was still the same.
