Well Here it is.

I have a secret I’d like to share with you . I have a secret place that has made my life in Devon a very happy one.

I was very kindly introduced to Holly ,and over the years I have been filing up my house with the treasures she collects and sells in her barn .

Many people over the world come and stop by for a lovely cup of tea and a look in her famous barn  . Most people load up there cars ,and most appoint Holly for her interior design skills

I hadn’t been for over to her house for many months due to busy schedule-so today was a real treat as the barn was packed of unseen treasures.

I purchased a great display cabinet . A fantastic antique lamp that is unlike anything I have seen before and a huge glass jar to keep all my bits and bobs in .

Hollys’ barn is to view by appointment only.

i got a package from mum .Shes still decluttering our stuff from all those years ago .

Anyway ,i forgot i had my popswatch orb there .

Do you remember you got someone to get me one of these ?Or was it Rue? I think they queued up for ages to get it …

Im still going to tresure it . Its never really been out of its box.

Maybe one day i’ll take it to the aniques roadshow .

i did have a Westwood cherub popswatch too . But i was gutted as i lost it somewhere on the way to school .

two paintings of teignmouth found at the sunday market. for only 50p each .

i love them . unfinshed , faded and old . ( like me?)

…did the recycling center get so damn expensive? £125 for a victorian sofa,£65 for a broken draw 1960 (great ) side table. (ooh just look at those legs!)

I mean its drepressing. Sometime i hate how much people are on to things now. Takes the excitement out of hunting.

theres nothing like a bit of dusty ,country ,vintage tut .

large lot of vintage (1970’s) baby and childrens clothes (all girls).
Handmade woolies, dresses etc. Having a clear out. All have been washed. said the advert on the local gumtree website. no photos. Oh what to do ? well I  took  a punt and thought ,why not…and  not only were they hand delivered to my door ,but nearly 100 childrens items. And they used to be hers and her sisters .

amazing knits, amazing dresses, kids bikinis, so much stuff, like a tresure trove.  Albie definatley felt happy . SO did I .I’d love to publish more, but ,you know, those ideas cost a little ..

i got my girl a great 1960 s bright red sergent pepper coat . She adores the shiny buttons. Such a good find ( if not a little synthetic ) and still room for growth for next year . hurrah .

…dog cushions on ebay … er why?A s I am not a big fan of doggies…but you know,they were  kind of cute and well, quite cheap .But i didnt win the pussy one . Dont you think they look like Tommy and Albert?In fact when I showed Ben the first pussy one he just rolled his eyes and started telling me about his allergies, but now i wish i did  bid on it ,as they would have all looked good together on the sofa,don’t you  think ?…Anyway two have arrived, and im just waiting for the spaniel.(They  did had two spaniels- i did some last minute bidding on the other one, but they piped me to the post,i was thinking you may like it too,you know, just to add a bit of country cottage to the manhattan appartment…)
